EXMOUTH
CAVE HUNTING

As Sam had the day off, all four of us we wanted to do something together. Sam suggested going caving which one of his friends, Nathan had told him about. So Julia made us a picnic of toasted sandwiches, boiled eggs, fruit and biscuits and we set out to try and find these caves.

We eventually pulled off of the main road into literally nowhere - infact both Mrs F and Julia thought it looked very much like going through a safari in the Masai Mara!

The road was really rocky and we drove onto a few tracks trying to find the cave, but in the end, we decided to give up looking and had our picninc on the roof of the car and enjoy the beautiful surroundings :-)

Mr F and Sam fixing back seats in their car for us....

Diesel in the back with his head on Mr F pretty much the whole way....

     Our track into the wilderness....

Stoppping to check for any potential caves....

        Our picnic on the roof....

Another stop for a cave hunt....

Even though we didn't find the caves, we had a really good day cruising around in the outback and having a picnic on the roof was just priceless.

Forgot to mention Julia's pavlova disater......

A pavlova is Sam's favourite desert, Julia decided to make one for him. It started out really well as she was making it and looked so delicious once it was all ready to eat.

However.....the whole thing stuck to the baking paper and so Sam and Julia sat and pulled the whole thing apart with their hands and eat the lot!!!! See below for evidence....
