LAST DAYS IN GERALDTON

Whilst we were out driving, we spotted our first Kangaroo but unfortunately didn't have our camera with us :-( So that night, Ben thought it would be a good idea to also eat one! We had Roo steaks on the BBQ before heading out to the cinema.

For those who have never eaten Roo, it's very tough and almost like liver....for those who have never eaten liver, it's rich and very acquired - not for Mr & Mrs F!

Ben busting out a few tunes...

Lou busting out a few moves....

Mr F busting out a dodgy smile....

Mrs F busting out her eyeballs by the looks of it!

The next day after another awesome sermon at church, we headed to the beach for a picnic before a few of the christian surfers headed into the ocean with their surf boards. It was a beautiful day with a gorgeous sunset....a great way to go out of Gero in style :-)

Julia from the christian surfers and Geraldton Baptist church gave us the name of 'Shaz and Gaz' so she became 'Ma Julie!' She was lovely and loads of fun as was all of the christian surfers....will miss them :-(

Saying goodbye to Ben & Lou and to what had been our home for 2weeks.....

We were planning on getting the coach up to Exmouth to visit our other brother in-law, Sam and his wife, Julia. But Sam had called us and asked if we wanted to drive his car up which he had left at Geraldton, which was awesome because it meant we would be able to see the coast and stop off at a couple of places along the way.

We loved our time in Geraldton and spending time with Ben & Lou was really special. Being back at church was so important and amazing for us both and loved it! Thanx to Ben & Lou for throwing us in the deep end on our first 2 days in Gero with the surfing, BBQ and sleeping under stars outback style! :-) We thank God for our special time in Geraldton and for the realtionship we built with Ben & Lou....we will treasure the memories forever.....
